Deepti Bahel
Founder & CEO
As a kidney transplant survivor and dialysis patient, Deepti knows firsthand how overwhelming it is to manage complex care across countless medications, appointments, and emotional hurdles. That lived experience -- the late-night worries, the coordination gaps, the moments of feeling lost in the system -- is what drove her to build MediMate Foundation. Her mission is to ensure no patient or caregiver has to navigate that journey without the right tools and support by their side.
Perlyn Chugh
Founding Vice President, Growth Marketing & Community Engagement
Currently a rising junior in high school, Perlyn has been pursuing her passion for healthcare advocacy and community engagement for the past two years -- both through school clubs and initiatives outside of school. Her drive comes from watching her grandmother battle Glioblastoma and the extraordinary caregivers who have shown unwavering kindness through every stage of treatment. Seeing the deep bond they share -- even from a distance -- and knowing each caregiver carries that compassion across many patients, fuels her commitment to supporting both patients and the people who care for them.
Ayushi Ajay Walia
Founding Vice President, Partnerships & Product Management
When Ayushi was in sixth grade, her father underwent major surgery to remove his large intestine due to severe ulcers. That year changed everything for her family -- navigating hospitals, uncertainty, and the emotional weight of a health crisis taught her resilience, empathy, and revealed the gaps that still exist in healthcare. Today, with a background in technology, creativity, and strategy, she focuses on building products and partnerships that create real-world impact, driven by the belief that this work is deeply personal.
